Co-Founder of an OTT platform and adviser on strategic partnerships, brand management, international productions and global campaigns. On the board of SFATA (Swiss food-tech association). In the management team of two international animal-welfare projects. Advisor for SSP Operations, engaged in the field of wind-energy.

Serial technology entrepreneur, judge, mentor and advisor to startups at several prominent Swiss startup support programmes. Founder of pi2Life which is a digital platform to increase the market share of impact investment and sustainable vegan, plant-based, cruelty-free, alt protein & alternatives to animal testing solutions globally across categories. Formerly co-founder and CEO of Beyond Animal, which was the first-ever online networking and investment platforms for the Alt Protein companies. Prior to which 20 years in corporate IT roles including Global IT Vice President at Swiss banks in Switzerland and technology consulting companies in the USA.

Irene has a Master’s in Food and Biotechnology and she is an innovation expert with nearly 30 years of experience across global markets. During her 23-year tenure at Nestlé, she advanced through leadership roles in innovation strategy, consumer insight, product development, and sensory excellence, building expertise in global consumer eating and cooking behaviors. She led high-performing innovation teams championing agile innovation methodologies and established worldwide innovation communities. Her international perspective spans diverse markets including Colombia, Austria, Germany, the United States, and Switzerland.
